Description

CELTIC, Carpathian region. Uncertain tribe , 2nd century BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 23 mm, 13.35 g, 12 h), 'Gallierkopf' type, Hungary. Wreathed head of a Gaulish warrior to right, wearing a mustache. Rev. Horseman to left; below, rosette. DLT 9866. Dembski 1273-1274. OTA 348. With an attractive grey toning. Very fine.
