Description

Crete. Lyttos. Circa 320-270 BC. Hemidrachm (Silver, 16 mm, 2.73 g, 10 h). Eagle with spread wings flying to left. Rev. ΛΥΤΤION Head of boar to right within incuse square bordered by dots. SNG Lockett 2582 (this coin). Svoronos 26, pl. XIX, 18 (reverse, this coin). Nicely toned and well-centered. Nearly extremely fine.
