ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΛΥΣΙΜΑΧΟΥ Athena seated to left on throne, leaning her left elbow on her shield and holding Nike, crowning the king’s name, in her right; behind, transverse spear with point below left; outer left, herm; in inner left field, monogram of ΔΞ. Thompson 50. A splendid piece, struck on a broad flan, very attractively toned and of the finest style. Extremely fine.
