Marcus Aurelius, 161-180. Sestertius (Orichalcum, 33 mm, 26.63 g, 11 h), Rome, 161. IMP CAES M AVREL ANTONINVS AVG P M Bare-headed and cuirassed bust of Marcus Aurelius to right, seen from behind. Rev. CONCORD AVGVSTOR TR P XV / COS III / S - C Marcus Aurelius, togate on the left, and Lucius Verus, togate on the right, facing each other and clasping their right hands; in his left hand, Marcus holds a scroll. Banti 24 (this coin). BMC 847 var. Cohen 45. RIC 796. With a fine olive-green patina and a bust of splendid style. Extremely fine.
