Hadrian, 117-138. Dupondius (Orichalcum, 27 mm, 12.04 g, 12 h), Rome, 134-138. HADRIANVS AVG COS III P P Bare-headed and draped bust of Hadrian to right. Rev. AEGYPTOS S C Figure of Egypt reclining to left, hold sistrum with her right hand and resting her left elbow on a basket; to left, Ibis standing right on column. BMC 1700. RIC 839c. With a fine portrait and an attractive Tiber patina. Nearly extremely fine.
