Constantius II, 337-361. Solidus (Gold, 21mm, 4.43 g 12), Thessalonica, 350-355. D N CONSTANTIVS MAX AVGVSTVS Pearl-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust to right. Rev. GLORIA REI-PVBLICA / •TES • Roma, helmeted, seated facing on left, and Constantinopolis, turreted, seated to left on the right, holding between them a shield inscribed VOT/XXX/MVLT/XXXX. Depeyrot 9/1. RIC 150. Attractively toned. Some marks and scuffs, otherwise, about extremely fine.
