Vespasian, with Titus and Domitian as Caesares, 69-79. Denarius (Silver, 16mm, 3.13 g 6), Rome, January-June 70. IMP CAESAR VESPASIANVS AVG Laureate head of Vespasian to right. Rev. CAESAR AVG[F COS CAES]AR AVG F PR Bare heads of Titus, on the left, and Domitian, with short beard on the right, facing each other; between them, pellet. BMC 7. BN 1. Cohen 5. RIC 16. Remarkably sharply struck with exceptional portraits in high relief. Struck on a very narrow flan, some minor deposits, and with a few very minor scratches, otherwise, extremely fine.
