L. Livineius Regulus and Julius Caesar, 42 BC. Denarius (Silver, 17mm, 4.25 g 3), Rome. Laureate head of Caesar to right; behind, laurel branch; before, caduceus. Rev. L LIVINEIVS / REGVLVS Bull rushing to right. Babelon (Julia) 57, (Livineia) 1. Crawford 494/24. CRI 115. Sydenham 1106. Rare. Toned. Slightly off center and slightly weakly struck, otherwise, about extremely fine.
