ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΠΤΟΛΕΜΑΙΟΥ Eagle with closed wings standing on thunderbolt to left, his head turned back to right, with double cornucopiae at his shoulder; between eagle’s legs, ΔΙ. BMFA 2284. SNG Copenhagen 197. Svoronos 1124. A splendid, lightly toned example, very well-struck. Minor flan crack, otherwise, extremely fine.
