Description

SELEUKID KINGS, Antiochos I Soter, 281-261 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 26mm, 17.10 g 6), Seleukeia-on-the-Tigris, c. 270-267. Diademed head of Antiochos to right. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΑΝΤΙΟΧΟΥ Apollo seated left on omphalos, holding arrow in his right hand and resting his left on a bow; to left and right, monogram. ESM 154. SC 379.3. With a nice portrait in high relief. Good very fine.
