Description

CORINTHIA, Corinth. Circa 345-307 BC. Stater (Silver, 20mm, 8.60 g 9). Ϙ Pegasus flying left with pointed wing. Rev. Α Ρ Head of Aphrodite to left, wearing pearl necklace and Corinthian helmet with leather neck guard and laurel wreath on the bowl; behind neck, aegis with Gorgon’s head. BCD Corinth -. BMC 253-254. Pegasi 427. Ravel 1009. Nicely toned and well struck. Extremely fine.
