EASTERN EUROPE, Middle Danube Area. Earlier 3rd century BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 19mm, 13.34 g 12), The ‘Apollokopf/Petasosreiter’ type. Facing head of the nymph Larissa Rev. Horseman riding to left; above right, wreath; below, branch. CCCBM I, 107. OTA 226. Toned and boldly struck. Nearly extremely fine.

From the Stoecklin Collection, acquired in 1945 from the collection of Dr. Halász of Budapest.
