Diadumenian, as Caesar, 217-218. Denarius (Silver, 19mm, 4.48 g 12), Rome, late July 217 - end February 218. M OPEL ANT DIADVMENIAN CAES Bare-headed and draped bust of Diadu­menian to right, seen from the front. Rev. PRINC IVVENTVTIS Diadumenian standing left, in military dress, his head to right, holding standard in his right hand and scepter in his left; behind him to right, two standards. BMC 87. Cohen 3. RIC 107. Lightly toned and with a powerful portrait. About extremely fine.
