L. Farsuleius Mensor, 76 BC. Denarius (Silver, 19mm, 3.86 g 6), Rome. S.C - MENSOR / XXXI Diademed and draped bust of Libertas to right, wearing pearl necklace and triple-pendant earring; behind head, pileus. Rev. L.FARSVLEI Warrior standing facing in biga with rearing horses to right, assisting togate figure to step into the biga; below, scorpion to right. Babelon (Farsuleia) 1. Crawford 392/1a. Sydenham 789a. Toned and clear. Good very fine.

From the Stoecklin Collection, acquired from a Herr Hase in Berlin, in December 1946.
