ISLANDS off IONIA, Chios. Circa 510-493 BC. Stater (Silver, 17mm, 7.87 g). Sphinx seated to left; to left, amphora; around, olive wtreath. Rev. Quadripartite incuse square. BMFA 1944. Toned and clear. Very fine.
