Description

CORINTHIA, Corinth. Circa 345-307 BC. Stater (Silver, 21mm, 8.54 g 2). Ϙ Pegasus flying left with pointed wing. Rev. Α Ρ Head of Aphrodite to left, wearing pearl necklace and Corinthian helmet with leather neck guard and laurel wreath on the bowl; behind neck, plow. BCD Corinth 107. BMC 250-253. Pegasi 439. Ravel 1021/2. Beautifully toned and nicely centered. Reverse very slightly double-struck, otherwise, extremely fine.
