SICILY, Syracuse. Agathokles, 317-289 BC. Stater (Silver, 18mm, 6.87 g 5), c. 300. Head of Athena to left, wearing Corinthian helmet. Rev. Pegasus flying to left; below left, triskeles. Calciati 17. SNG ANS 682-685. A splendid, sharply struck, toned example. Extremely fine.
