ETRURIA, Populonia. 3rd century BC. 20 Asses (Silver, 20mm, 8.36 g), The ‘Second Metus Group’. Diademed and facing head of Metus, with protruding tongue; below, XX. Rev. Blank. HN III 142. Vecchi Series 52. Bold, well struck and well-centered. Flan crack and with the usual die break, otherwise, good very fine.
