Aelius César, 136-138. Aureus 137, Rome. L AELIVS CAESAR Buste drapé d'Aelius à droite / TRIB POT COS II La Concorde assise à gauche, tenant une patère, une corne d'abondance sous son bras gauche. CONCORD à l'exergue. 7,25g. RIC Hadrien 443b; Kent-Hirmer pl. 86, 301 (cet exemplaire); Mazzini 9 (cet exemplaire); Calicó 1443 (même coin d'avers).
De haut relief. Superbe.
Exemplaire provenant des collections Giuseppe Mazzini (1883-1961), achetée à l'amiable par Mario Ratto, Athos D. Moretti (1907-1993), NFA 22 "An important collection of Roman gold coinage" (1 juin 1989) 61 et de la collection "Distinguished American Collection, Leu 52 (15 mai 1991) 201 ainsi que de la ventes NAC 59 (4-5- avril 2011) 1005.
