All volumes uniformly bound in later black quarter morocco with marbled boards and endpapers, raised bands, lettered in gilt. Heavily rubbed and worn with many boards loose or detached, the spines and joints rubbed and cracked with some loss. The contents lightly browned with some sporadic foxing, a few blemishes and ocassional annotations in the text. A well-used, complete set of the rarely offered, original editions of Mionnet’s main text and supplement, both of which would benefit from the attentions of a skilled binder. A monumental and still much-used reference, important and seldom offered in any condition. Rare thus. (16)
