The scholarship utilized is excellent and is universally recognized as the ultimate reference for this series. 8,739 coins are illustrated on 304 plates, with a very good German text. These coins were afterwards dispersed through the trade and are usually offered at auction. Original sets of this SNG are very rare…”.
