Original matching plain and blue cloth boards with printed overlay. Bindings a little shelf worn, and dusty, the inner hinges cracked and the lower section of the spine of volume one chipped. The contents browned with some foxing, particularly to the plates, some soiling, the final plate reinforced along the edges with tape. With a manuscript dedication from C. Cornaglia to ‘Mr. Falbe, Chambelland de S.M. le Roi du Danemark etc. etc. etc.’ in the second volume. Very good overall and seldom offered, especially complete as here. (2)
