Clain-Stefanelli 1888*. Daehn 1776. Grierson pp. 54–55. Kroh p. 10 (four stars), “Certainly the most utilized reference work for Greek coins. It contains in total 10,688 pages, 952 plates, and 15 fold-out colour maps. The first four volumes lack plates but have woodcut illustrations throughout the text…. They remain essential references and publish a great many coins not found elsewhere… Full sets [are] very elusive.”
