Antoninus Pius caesar, 138. Aureus 138, AV 7.19 g. IMP T AEL CAES – ANTONINVS Bare-headed, draped and cuirassed bust r. Rev. TRI POT COS – DES·II Concordia seated l., on throne, leaning l. arm on statue of Spes and holding patera in outstretched r. hand; below throne, cornucopiae. In exergue, CONCORD. C –. BMC Hadrian 1019. RIC Hadrian 453b var. (not cuirassed). Calicó 1486 (this coin).
Very rare. An unusual portrait struck in high relief and extremely fine
