Trichalkous late 4th - early 3rd century BC, Æ 6.24 g. Head of Athena r., wearing Corinthian helmet decorated with serpent coiled on bowl. Rev. ΟΡ – ΘΙΕΙ – ΩΝ Forepart of a horse springing r. from rocks, on which grows an olive tree. All within wreath. Traité 595 and pl. CCXCIII, 16. Rogers 421. BCD Thessaly I, 1220 (this coin). BCD Thessaly II, 500.
In unusually fine condition for the issue. Dark green patina and good very fine
