HERCVLI – CONS CAES Hercules standing facing with lion’s skin slung over l. shoulder, head l., holding apple in l. hand and leaning on club with r. In exergue, SMAS*. C 145. RIC 8. Depeyrot 9/4. Calicó 4833 (this obverse die).
Rare. A portrait of excellent style, almost invisible mark and an edge nick
at nine o’clock on reverse, otherwise extremely fine
