Corinthia, Corinth. Stater circa 430, AR 8.57 g. Pegasus flying r.; below, ?. Rev. Head of Athena l., wearing wreathed Corinthian helmet; all within partially incuse square. SNG Berry 768. Calciati 105 (this reverse die). Ravel P175/T257. Very rare. An elegant portrait of superb Classical style perfectly struck and centred on a full flan and with a magnificent old cabinet tone.
