Tetradrachm circa 160, AR 16.60 g. Head of Demeter r., wearing barley-wreath. Rev. QEWN KABEIRWN The two Kabiri standing facing, each holding sceptre and surmounted by star; monogram to r., SURIWN in exergue. All within wreath. von Fritze ZfN 24, 1904, pl. 5, 19. Nicolet-Pierre-Amandry, Studia Westermark, D7/R9, p. 301, 12 (this coin). Bauslaugh, ANSMN 27, pl. 16, 7.
Very rare and among the finest specimens known of this difficult issue. Well struck on a
