Calcidian drachm circa 530-520, AR 5.87 g. Cockerel advancing l., with r. claw raised. Border of dots. Rev. Windmill sail pattern of four raised and four sunken triangles. BMC 1. Kraay-Hirmer pl. 20, 63. Kraay 58. In exceptional condition for the issue and among the finest specimens known.
Perfectly centred on a very broad flan and with a lovely old cabinet tone.
