Schlumberger attributes this type to Tripoli. Sabine, NC 1980 p. 101, doubts that attribution and suggests an association with Sidon. Malloy/Preston/Seltman have it under the heading "Tripoli or Uncertain Syria". Bought from Byzantium Coins, Wolfgang Leimenstoll, Gundelfingen, in April 2011.
