Kushan Dynasty, Vasudeva I (190-230 AD), Gold Dinar, OESHO (Shiva) Type, Obv: crowned, nimbate, diademed king standing facing left sacrificing over altar left, a ribboned trident surmounts altar and holding another trident in left hand, a long sword held with belt, Bactrian legend around "þAONONOþAO BA... ZOΔηO KOþANO" (King of Kings,Vasudeva, the Kushana), Rev: lord Shiva standing facing front, hair in top knot with flaming nimbate, holding trident and diadem, Bull (Nandi) standing behind to left, facing front, front right leg raised, Bactrian legend at right "OηþO", tamgha at left field, dotted border around, 7.9g, 21.48mm, (Gobl # 657), double-struck on both sides, choice very fine, Very Rare.
