Note: Muluvananda is by far the rarest of the "Anandas" (ending chieftains) of Karnataka. Only two coins of Elephant type have so far been known of him. This Hill type coin is known for the first time and it fits in neatly with coins of other rulers, like the lesser Satavahanas of Banavasi, who issued coins in the same type.
