Kushan Dynasty, Huvishka (160-190 AD), Gold 1/4 Dinar, "Meuro/Mithra" (Sun God) type, Obv: diademed and crowned half-length bust left on clouds, holding mace-sceptre in one hand and ankush in another hand, Bactrian legend around "þAONANOþ.........ηþKI KOþANO" (King of Kings Huvishka Kushan), Rev: radiate, nimbate Sun deity Mitra standing facing left, extending hand in benediction and holding filleted scepter, Bactrian legend at right "MEYPO" (Meuro), tamgha at left field, 2.2g, 13.33mm, (Gobl # 337/Jongward & Cribb # 732), choice very fine, Exceedingly Rare.
