MACEDON. Akanthos. Circa 480-470 BC. Tetrobol (Silver, 14 mm, 2.64 g). Forepart of a lioness to right, head seen from above; above, conch shell. Rev. Quadripartite incuse square with granulated recesses. SNG ANS 22-23. Nicely toned. Some deposits and with some scratches on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.
