Diocletian, 284-305. Follis (Silvered bronze, 29 mm, 11.00 g, 1 h), Treveri, circa 300-301. IMP DIOCLETIANVS P F AVG Laureate and cuirassed bust of Diocletian to left, holding spear over his right shoulder and shield on his left. Rev. FORTVNAE REDVCI AVGG NN / ✱ / BTR Fortuna seated left on wheel, holding rudder in her right hand and cornucopiae in her left. RIC -. Apparently unpublished. A beautiful coin with a bold and very attractive portrait. Slightly rough, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
