Bearded head of Leukippos to right, wearing Corinthian helmet decorated with a charioteer driving fast quadriga to right on the bowl and a tiny hippocamp left on the side; behind, forepart of lion to right and AΠH. Rev. METAΠONTINΩN Barley ear with leaf to left; above leaf, vertical club with head below; below leaf, AMI. HN Italy 1574. Johnston Class B1.1. SNG ANS 431. Nicely toned. Somewhat rough, otherwise, very fine.
