LUCANIA. Herakleia. Circa 390-340 BC. Didrachm or Nomos (Silver, 21 mm, 7.80 g, 9 h). Head of Athena to right, wearing Corinthian helmet adorned with Skylla hurling a stone; before to right, AΘAN[AΣ]. Rev. ՒHPAKΛHIΩN Herakles strangling the Nemean lion; to left, club and bow. HN Italy 1376. Van Keuren 48. Struck from somewhat worn dies, otherwise, very fine.
