Anonymous, circa 280 BC. Triens (Bronze, 47 mm, 97.99 g), Rome. Thunderbolts with four pellets (mark of value) across field. Rev. Dolphin swimming right above four pellets (mark of value). Crawford 14/3. HN Italy 270. RBW -. Sydenham 10. Thurlow-Vecchi 3. An attractive piece with a lovely green patina. Tiny flan fault on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.
