PTOLEMAIC KINGS OF EGYPT. Cleopatra VII Thea Neotera, 51-30 BC. AE (Bronze, 23 mm, 8.57 g, 12 h), Damaskos, SE 280 = 33/2 BC. Diademed and draped bust of Cleopatra VII to right. Rev. ΔAMAΣKHNΩN - L ΠΣ The Tyche of Damaskos seated to left on rock, her right arm outstretched and holding cornucopiae in her left; at feet, river-god Chrysoroas swimming right; all within laurel wreath. RPC I 4783. SNG Copenhagen 419. Svoronos 1893. Rare. An exceptional example with a superb portrait. Somewhat smoothed, otherwise, good very fine.
