★ Extremely rare and important ★

CELTIC, Central Europe. Rauraci. Circa 50-30 BC. Quinarius (Silver, 11 mm, 1.63 g, 9 h), Ninno. WINNO Draped bust of a youthful male to left, with wing in his hair. Rev. Horse galloping left; above (?) and below, pellet-in-annulet. DT -. LT 9345 var. (obverse legend). Nick p. 55, 50.7. SLM -. Extremely rare. A beautifully toned example of this important issue with an unusually well readable legend. The reverse struck somewhat off center, otherwise, extremely fine.

From the Helvetii Collection, formed in the 1970s and 1980s.
