KINGS OF MACEDON. Alexander III ‘the Great’, 336-323 BC. AE (Bronze, 19 mm, 5.27 g, 2 h), Arados, circa 328-320. Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin headdress. Rev. ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ - BAΣIΛEΩΣ Club and bow in bowcase; above, torch. Price 3311. An attractive piece with a beautiful head of Herakles and a lovely dark patina. Good very fine.
