KINGS OF MACEDON. Philip II, 359-336 BC. Stater (Gold, 17 mm, 8.61 g, 5 h), Pella, under Antipater or Polyperchon or Kassander, circa 323/2-315. Laureate head of Apollo to right. Rev. ΦΙΛΙΠΠOY Charioteer driving biga to right, holding reins in his left hand and goad in his right; below horses, thunderbolt. Le Rider 413 (D185/R305). A lovely piece of fine style. Very light deposits, otherwise, good very fine.
