SICILY. Syracuse. Timoleon and the Third Democracy, 344-317 BC. AE (Bronze, 16 mm, 4.92 g, 3 h). ΣΥΡΑΚΟΣΙΩΝ Head of female (Arethusa or Aphrodite?) to left. Rev. Forepart of Pegasus to left; below, Σ. CNS 79. SNG ANS 530-2. A lovely piece with a fine green patina. Slightly rough, otherwise, good very fine.
