SICILY. Akragas. Circa 500-495 BC. Didrachm (Silver, 18 mm, 8.44 g, 12 h), Exakestos, magistrate. AKPAΣA- NTOΣ Eagle standing left with closed wings. Rev. A+ E Crab. SNG ANS 919. Westermark 92 (O39/R56). Good fine.
From an old Swiss collection, kept in a bank safe in Zurich since 1969.
