★ Beautiful iridescent toning ★

BRUTTIUM. Kroton. Circa 350-300 BC. Didrachm or Nomos (Silver, 22 mm, 7.60 g, 9 h). Eagle standing left on a hare, with head raised and wings displayed; to lower left, AI. Rev. KPO Tripod with legs ending in lion's feet; to right, heron standing left on Δ. HN Italy 2175; SNG ANS 368. Beautiful iridescent toning. Die break and a minor flan fault on the obverse, otherwise, very fine.

From an American collection, formed before 2005.
