BRUTTIUM. Kroton. Circa 400-325 BC. Didrachm or Nomos (Silver, 20 mm, 7.25 g, 11 h). KΡOTONIATAΣ Laureate head of Apollo to right. Rev. The Herakliskos Drakonopnigon: the Infant Herakles, nude, crouching facing on rock, head to left, strangling a serpent in each hand. Dewing 513. HN Italy 2157. Jameson 433-4. SNG ANS 385. Cleaning marks from removing horn silver, otherwise, very fine.
