LUCANIA. Metapontion. Circa 340-330 BC. Didrachm or Nomos (Silver, 19 mm, 7.83 g, 10 h). Bearded head of Leukippos to right, wearing Corinthian helmet; behind, head of a lion right. Rev. META Barley ear with leaf to left; on leaf, club; below leaf, [AMI]. HN Italy 1575. Johnston Class B, 2. Cleaning marks from removing horn silver, otherwise, very fine.
