Description
CELTIC, Middle Danube. Uncertain tribe. 2nd-1st centuries BC. Drachm (Silver, 14 mm, 2.26 g, 11 h), 'Kugelwange' type. Laureate head of Zeus to right. Rev. Horse prancing left; above, wheel. Dembski 1111. Lanz 458-9. Beautifully toned. The reverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, very fine.
