ATTICA. Athens. Circa 455-449 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 24 mm, 17.16 g, 1 h). Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet decorated with three olive leaves and palmette. Rev. ΑΘE Owl standing right, head facing; to left, olive sprig and crescent; all within incuse square. Starr Group V.A, series 4. An exceptionally sharp and boldly struck piece. Good extremely fine.
