★ A well struck tetradrachm from Akragas ★
SICILY. Akragas. Circa 470/465-440s. Tetradrachm (Silver, 26 mm, 17.24 g, 12 h). AKPAC- ANTOC Eagle standing left with closed wings. Rev. Crab within shallow circular incuse. Randazzo 13. SNG München 68. Westermark Group II, 351 (O10/R36). A well struck and remarkably attractive example. Very minor flan faults on the obverse , otherwise, extremely fine.
